1. So let me get this straight, I cannot use characters I have created for general usage (or on other forums), but rather must make an RP discussion thread just so that the character can count as "existing" on this thread? Am I reading that right?

2. If so, am I permitted to just make a "Zandyne's Character Profiles" thread? (I'll just make that thread and you can delete it if it is somehow breaking a rule somehow.)

1. No, you cannot. If you already have a general character, then it would be someplace else already. You don't have to put it on a new thread so everyone can see it: post that character in whichever RP thread you'd like to join, and await criticism there.

2. No.

P.S. And as a reminder (Kudo said so already) you are walking on thin ice. Keep that in mind.

So I can't make thread just for hosting my character profiles in a section called Character Data? Alrighty, I'll just make an RP discussion thread, where do I make that?

PS Where are the rules for this RP section? This is an honest curiosity, how can I "watch myself" if there are no formal rules for the respective RP forum? There is nothing even vaguely addressed about the RP process in the Rules and Regulations thread.

A character discussion thread is fine, it can go in the outside forum.

The (unspoken) rules of the RP section are as follows:

1. No flaming
2. No trolling
3. Be nice (a.k.a. Don't be an ass)
4. HAVE FUN
5. Follow the rules for each individual RP (if any)

So that's all of the rules to the RP process ?

Yes. There aren't any rules to the RP process in the Rules and Regulations thread yet. Really, you're totally free when it comes to that. It just has to be somewhat understandable.

In other words, follow whatever rules they have put down for each RP, which can be very lenient or very strict depending on what parts you look at.

Otherwise, the normal unwritten rules (common sense, and what .sickling. put up) are pretty much the only thing that need to be followed. I think somewhere there were some written that mostly just consisted of the basics (don't spam, post porn, and whatnot)

There's nothing to be confused about. Read the rules, follow the guidelines. It takes half a brain if not less.

You mean the invisible rules that talk about how to go about setting up an RP, creating specific character profiles (and where to submit them), setting up an RP discussion and so forth? I just got chewed out for putting a character in the ONLY general character thread, was barred from creating my OWN general character thread and then had to create a new RP just to "follow the rules" and allow a general usage character to exist (despite having been told, "well we're really not strict on the process." Yet I have been told and scolded about rules/guidelines that are NOWHERE to be reviewed.

Those are the only "rules" I'm confused about, and lo and behold they do not actually exist anywhere on this forum. 8\

Now Pikachu, possessor of more than half a brain, if you could tell me where to FIND these RP setup guidelines I would more than thankful for you helping this poor, less-than-half-a-brain soul.

Don't worry about him, he just comes here these days to spam and be and idiot. Just never take him seriously. Also, he's not referring to the RP rules at all, just this: http://xplodingbrain.omgforum.net/rules-regulations-f5/rules-and-regulations-please-read-t57.htm

then again, even these are to be followed a little less leniently than put down. Example: you won't get a warning for swearing a few times. 2nd Example: We could take your comment on "less-than-half-a-brain-soul" as an insult and therefore put you down for flaming, but since it's Pikachu, and due to leniency as well as how seriously we seem to take it, you're not getting a 2nd warning....yet

-Sigh-

Maybe if you did a little sight seeing of the forum, some reading maybe, you'd get the gist or idea of where to post, and what to do. If anything listen to what people have to say, don't talk back, and do it. I don't give a flying shit about the roleplaying, but from my small readings, you barely looked at the forums before posting. Invisible rules are set up because most of these forum members know each other in real life. We're mainly a tight knit family like group of friends, thus we have small unwritten rules implanted in our heads. I'm not suggesting you to leave, but seriously talking back like this isn't fun at all.

Edit: Oh Kudo, I'm not being an idiot. I just don't really give a shit about these sections.

@Kudo

So now I can't sarcastically insult myself?

@Pikachu

I do actually know all of you, yet I was never made aware of any of these invisible rules. Rules that are invisible are as easily bent as the air itself. (I am also surprised at all of your behavior.)

I did do a little sight seeing. I saw confusion and masses of text. A place called "character data" where newcomers cannot make general character posts? It doesn't make sense. I wouldn't "talk back" if there were concrete rules somewhere. Is this really that strange of a train of thought? (And I did follow .sickling.'s instructions which contradicted itself, Kudo didn't really instruct me with anything.)

I posted normally, then it devolved into arguing. I got ranted to, in return I volleyed back my own sarcasm. We both got warnings. End of story.

Now, where can I apply for a sarcasm license since you have spam/insult leniency license plate?

Your confusion tells me you're simply trying too hard to understand. Your warning was for depths of poor interpretation before coming here: there having been little to no direct rules of the general RPs is no excuse since you could've easily looked at the past RPs and seen how those flow, and any kinks worked out in each. That and you seemed to have shown past RP experience, you're just like the little girl who's constantly asking "why? why? why?". What we've said constantly is "learn on your own for a while, you aren't five and you don't need baby steps" the warning you were given was something to let you know when you've gone too far, which shouldn't happen often, but is there for your mistakes. Feel free to experiment, but you should learn how and how not to screw up as often eventually never even have the word "warning" mentioned.

Perhaps it should be illegal for you to sarcastically insult yourself without understanding what we're saying first.

And if you do know all of us, then clearly not enough.

Rule of Pikachu #1- Never Take Him Seriously.
In the past this is one thing that has been said constantly, if anything, maybe you know us but hardly talk to us. Just a bit too far to really say you "know" us. Too be a little honest, I'm disappointed in you saying this, perhaps you're disappointed in our actions too, but that's just how it works.

As for our behavior, it's the internet. Get used to it. People's personas go through immense changes between the real world and the internet. What can be an innocent 7 year old in the real world, could be a trashtalker pretending to be a 20 year old woman. It's almost like being bi-polar, or even tri-polar if you act even more differently on other sites.

For this I can say you have made too many mistakes. Even in your sarcasm it is too difficult to discern, it's not like we can hear your voice over the internet to know what you emphasis or whatnot, it's why emoticons were made. I'm keeping a rather serious tone throughout so I'm not using any.

It should work out, now then, I'm going to stop posting in this thread due to how off-topic it's gotten. See you around the forums then.

Cram edited his post, it says to prove he's more than willing to help this "clean slate" along he'll be moving/deleting all of these less than friendly posts.

Also he said he was posting it after Kudo's spiel and before your peace-making post. Seems like a logical admin rage-out to me.

Wouldn't it just make more sense to delete that post AFTER seeing that there was no reason to post it in the first place? It seems like he still wants to get whatever message he wants across.

Anyway, I'm done. Goodbye.

Great, I get to be a bastard again. The Chatbox (Formerly The World of Isiya: Character Sheet) - Page 2 850102

*SARCASM!*Because obviously, Cram is an infallible human. *END SARCASM*

I think keeping the post there with dignity rather than cowardly deleting it is a better sign of good faith than proposing peace and then deleting that truce. (PS he proves nothing if he never saw your post, I'm guessing he just saw me and kudo saying let bygones be bygones.)

If he's doing anything at all, he's keeping this as an example of DOING IT WRONG on these forums. (Including his reaction to all of these events really getting out of hand.) And I'm sincerely sorry to say this, but If you cannot directly state what you are offended by then you aren't really offended. Especially since he asked you directly and you gave him no real answer, rather you insulted him more. There is a time to be a coy and a time to be honest. Preserving your friendship requires honesty not beating around the silly sensitivity bush.

For someone who's a hyper v.13-main you sure give up quick. Especially since you said "If your HP is above 0 you can still win." Apparently maintaining your friendship with each other is strained by a little hiccup in perspective? That's tragic.

EDIT: Can we get over the dead horse now? Please?

And I'm sincerely sorry to say this, but If you cannot directly state what you are offended by then you aren't really offended.

Please?

Yes, I apologize for the "emo moment" back there. There were some... issues going on besides the forum. I won't go into that. And as I said before, I don't like arguing, whether it be over the internet or in reality. There's also a difference between that and forcing someone's HP bar down to 0 (which you CAN STILL DO AS LONG AS YOU AREN'T KOed!!!)

Now, I REALLY want to start shooting names... Zandyne... oh Zandyne... Only a handful of people know that I ever said that. That means you must have been at "his" house... which very much narrows it down to...

....

Oh, this thread isn't VVO's, it's "technically" Drag3ndz's, but he doesn't do much of anything anymore.

Hell yeah. I left because it became too complicated. Mostly, .sickling. and VVO overran me and took control.

It's either her or staffer daddy. Those are the only two that would have known I said that. -wink-

Not likely... Cram doesn't talk about that kind of stuff about me. He barely even plays BB anymore solely because of the fact that I play it.

Zandyne asked me about Blazblue and guilty gear in a PM. I told him, "Well, I stopped playing because its always a 'its over anakin! i have the high ground' match. And then I quoted you and told him that it was a load of crap and REALLY it should have been, 'he who is better with Nu wins. Period'.
